Step 1: First visit HDFC net banking page (https://www.hdfcbank.com/personal/ways-to-bank/online-banking/net-banking) and click on “REGISTER ONLINE”
Step 2: Next screen click on ” Register for NetBanking by generating a One Time password ( OTP)”
Step 3: And next enter your customer ID. (You can find your customer ID on the passbook and cheque book or find it online)
Step 4: Now select “Authentication with One Time Password (OTP) sent on your registered Mobile No., and your Debit Card details” and proceed.
Step 5: Next screen enter your registered mobile number with country code (91) and proceed further.
Step 6: Now you will receive a time password on your HDFC registered mobile number, enter this OTP and submit.
Step 7: Next screen, you can see your Debit card number, click and proceed.
Step 8: And finally, enter your Debit card ATM PIN, expiry month & year, and set a login password for your net banking.
That’s it your HDFC net banking is now activated successfully and now you can login to your internet banking account by entering your customer ID and login password. Your customer ID is your login User ID for net banking, you can change it later and set your own custom user ID after login.
HDFC Net Banking Activation Without Debit Card
If you don’t have ATM/Debit card then you can use the OTP method to register for net banking without a Debit card. For this, your mobile number and email ID should be registered with your bank account.
- Select “Authentication with One Time Password (OTP) sent on your registered Mobile No., and Email ID“
- Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number and email ID.
- And the next screen you can set your login IPIN (password)
- Now you can login to your net banking account using your customer ID and login password (IPIN)
