Do you want to create your SBI account UPI ID with @sbi handle name? If yes, then you can now get your official SBI account UPI ID (VPA) on the YONO SBI application.
Normally when you link your SBI bank account to third-party UPI applications, your UPI ID or VPA is created with a different handle name like @ybl, @axl, @okicici
But if you want to create your unique UPI ID with @sbi handle name & your mobile number then you can use the YONO SBI application and create your unique VPA address to receive money through UPI.
So here we will explain to you step by step how to create an official SBI account UPI ID with @sbi handle name and powered by SBI. You can use your mobile number or any custom name and create your UPI address.
Create SBI Account Official UPI ID with @sbi Handle Name
If you are not registered with YONO SBI then please install the application from the Play Store and activate it with your Net Banking username and login password Or you can use your ATM Debit card for activation.
Now follow these steps and create your unique UPI ID for your SBI account.
Step 1: Login to the YONO SBI application and on the home screen, tap and open ‘YONO Pay‘
Step 2: In the YONO Pay section, select the “BHIM UPI” option and proceed.
Step 3: Now tap on the “Create/Retrieve UPI Profile” option.
Step 4: Now select your account registered mobile number SIM card and proceed. Once you select the SIM, the application will send an SMS from your registered mobile number and verify your mobile number.
Step 5: Once your mobile number is verified, select State Bank of India from the bank list and proceed.
Step 6: Now you can create your UPI ID. If you want to use your mobile number for UPI ID then enter your mobile number or enter your desired UPI ID and check availability. You can also select any suggested UPI IDs. Once you created your UPI ID, select the secret question and enter your answer, select your bank account and proceed to the next step.
Step 7: Your UPI ID is successfully created and it will be created with the @sbi handle name.
Now you need to create your UPI PIN using your ATM Debit Card. Once your UPI PIN is created, your YONO SBI UPI account will be ready to use. If your UPI PIN already exists then you can skip this step.
Step 8: Once your BHIM UPI account is created, you can tap on the “Manage” option and create or change your UPI ID anytime.
Step 9: In the manage section, you can tap on the “Create New” option and create a new UPI ID.
This way SBI account holders can create an official UPI ID (VPA) with the @sbi handle name for their bank account on the YONO SBI application. You can use your mobile number or name to create your unique UPI ID.
